Glow 7 "A Touch of Blue"

We heard the Party People's Annual All White boat ride with A Touch of Blue was the boat ride to be on for Memorial Weekend, so you know we had to see what the hype was all about. It was a beautiful evening for a boat ride, sunny skies, not too hot, not too cool... just perfect! White TJJ gear... check! Time to hit the road. When we got on board the Queen of Hearts, we headed straight upstairs and started mingling & taking photos *flash* one time. As we walked around we realized there were a lot of friends and family of the Jungle on dis boat... NICE! DJ Anonymous was playing some wicked sounds upstairs so of course we had to take a lil wine. We then made our way downstairs where DJ Spice, DJ Tuffie & D'Professionals had the music under control. We noticed there was food on this floor but de music was so sweet that we had to make an executive decision.... "Eat or jam?" So we jammed!

Later on we made our way back upstairs where DJ Back to Basics was killing the crowd with back in time shots. All of a sudden, Back to Basics stopped the music and announced that he was going to change the flavor.... and what do we hear? The sweet sound of steel pan! When we went for a closer look, it was none other than Dane Gulston, one of de best steel pan men outta T&T... Sweeeet!

The energy on that boat was out of control! Pure madness! Boat swayin' and people jumpin' from side to side. Back to Basics was reeeeal rocking that boat, yes! We thought we were going to flip over and have to swim back to shore! So we had one eye on de LIFE JACKET and another eye on de WINE! No one can say we doh have our priorities straight!! ;-)

We docked some time around midnight & although we had planned to hit the next spot, we were so satisfied with this boat ride that we decided to go home to rest we waist. Cos tomorrow we hitting Soca Web's Beach House Breakfast Party then Thief Head Crew's Mawnin Neighbor early o'clock!

Glow 7 boat ride gets the official TJJ Thumbs Up Thumbs Up!. We will definitely be back next year... Felix, thanks for the love!
