Spring has arrived and that can only mean one thing ~ Caribana around the corner! However what better way than to get ready for the season than to kick it off with a “Beach Theme” party – Fete Factor. Held at the spacious Sin City, TJJ arrived on the scene around 11:45p and the party was just getting started. Keeping to the beach atmosphere, fetegoers were greeting by bikini clad ladies and muscle men that presented you with a Hawaiian lei to get you into the mood, the place was definitely transformed into a tropical paradise.
As always the crowd was enjoying the sweet Soca & Reggae vibes put on by the array of talented DJ’s. Large up to D’Enforcas, Soca Sweetness, MarXman & Renegade Squad for throwing it down on the one’s and two’s. But we would all have to admit party real real start when Jugglers Entertainment (all the way from Trinidad) took over, is now the heat start to rise in d place. When we say Barry & Shal put down some tune on we backside! We had to put down de camera for a minute an bruk out an wine, yes!
Around 1pm, the inaugural launch of one of Louis Saldenah’s newest sections took place ~ "Carnival Empire". The ladies presented the very sexy costumes and the hype of Caribana was in the air. Stay tune for more coverage of upcoming band launches.... Callaloo, Tribal Knights, Toronto Revellers, Saldenah, Errol Achue and Carnival Nationz to name a few. Aye this Sat May 19th at the Ramada Hotel is Saldenah's Band Launch... "Rainforest" presentation. TJJ go be dey!
