What did your shirt say?

Expressions... What a concept! Folks put so much time and effort into their MSN screen names, their Facebook sayings and their myspace quotes, so what better way to allow them another avenue to express themselves than by wearing their own custom made t-shirt to a party! Most parties are pretty much fashion shows to begin with, so we expected this one to be all that and much more... and we were not disappointed. However, we were a little concerned by the number of shirts worn by young ladies that had messages directed to the boyfriends of other young ladies... what goes on??!!

The TJJ crew planned to arrive early for this one because we knew the turnout would be good and wanted to arrive on time for once, so of course we got there at 1AM! Hey we tried, and yuh know is crowd when the first line yuh end up in is just to drive into the parking lot, then after that, is to line up to get in the party.... and that line reaching all the way back to the parking lot. Lucky for us, the promoters does handle TJJ right, so we on the inside fass fass. Seems there were more people on line than inside but at 1AM it was still pretty early, especially here at Bayside Hut, but that just made it easier to get some drinks and read some shirts before the vision got blurry.

Expressions was hosted by Ky-Mani Marley and none other than Slim - the Mayor of Slimcity. There was even a guest appearance by Chopper of MTV's "Making the Band" fame, now a part of Cash Money Millionaires. Now Chopper (photo) himself did not wear a very expressive shirt, but nobody would have read it anyway, not with that chain he was sporting.... if yuh see the bling shine at night... lawdy!!! Seems a couple folks had the same idea to let others express themselves on the shirt they were wearing and came in with blank white tees armed with different colored Sharpies. Kind of original we thought, until we saw the 3rd person with the same idea!! ;-) Sorry Twins!!

Our award for the most original shirt has to go to the Myztique Modelz each wearing a shirt with a letter on the back that spelt out SLIMCITY (photo), or maybe the award should go to Slim for this? There was an award for the most expressive shirt, but we can't tell you what it said ‘cause it makes us blush. But we can tell you one very confident lady was making a very "bold guaranty" with her T-shirt! When you see the photo you will know which one!
