Define Evolution -- 'A process that results in genetic or heritable changes in a population spread over many generations' (Laurence Meron). The triniPulse Crew has definitely 'evolutionized' over the past years. Their third anniversary party, Evolution, was an event greatly anticipated.

Saturday May 5th 2007, was the date, the Courtyard, Hasley Crawford Stadium was the place, againnnnn. We stress on 'again' because the last event triniPulse Crew hosted was at the Stadium. TP Crew, we will personally request that the authorities at the stadium rename it after you guys.... triniPulse National Stadium!!!

TJJ arrived promptly at 10:00 p.m., the time that this event was carded for. Well, Trini's don't usually filter through parties 'til about twelve, one, and so we decided to make our way into the dance to capture the ambiance.

There was security outside, of course, with a little ticket booth to the right of the entrance. As we entered, Hypnotiq ladies were there waiting to offer you a complimentary drink of Hypnotiq and Red Bull. To the right of them was the bathroom area with heavily guarded 'men in blue'. Yes, the 'po po'. Continuing our journey to the dance floor; white tents to the front, left and right of the Courtyard with little Heineken umbrella stand up tables, DJs to the right and the bar directly to the front. The set up, we must say, was excellenté.

Around, hmmm let's see if this is a word, half twelvish, the party started pumping. Well, we were already having a time with the 2-4-1 drinks - no pushing and tugging by the bar to 'wet your beak' - and food was readily available. Folks started strolling in as the party got a lot more vibes, while the DJ blessed us with an eclectic mix of Soca, Hip Hop and of course the Dancehall of today, among them being, Mr. Vegas' "Tek Wey Yuhself'" and Beenie Man's "Reverse Di Ting", which the crowd seemed to be loving a lot. Mr. Slaughter and his new blushing bride graced Evolution with their presence after having exchanged their vows - much love and congratulations!

As for the ratio of men to women, men couldn't complain, and if they did... well something's definitely wrong.... hmmmm??? Women fashion of today is unquestionably top notch. Colours for so!!! They really dressed to impress that night; they looked fabulous!! The men..... hmm, shades galore!! Hahahaha - come to think of it, most of the dance moves in Evolution were done by people, well fellas, who wore shades, and a Mohawk!! :-) Now don't get us wrong, the men and woman of nowadays appear to be going competition when it comes to dressing - fashionably late is without a doubt an understatement.

We most certainly want to thank TP Crew for inviting us - Hold on, photo op. Cheeeessse snap. Okay, where were we? You never let us down when it comes to partying and having a good time. Only one minor thing though. Wey de doubles dey, wey de doubles dey??? Hahahahaha. That is ah must when it comes to 'cut head' from all those 2-4-1 drinks!!
