We just left The Ocean Pearl Launch, and we're onto the second of our three event line up for the night - Trini Revellers 2K8 Section Launch “El Imperio De Cortez”. Touching down in St. James at The Cadet's Mess, we walked passes the Hawaiian style flambeau lights and were warmly welcomed on the inside.

After enjoying a complementary rounds of drinks at the bar, we proceeded to socialize. At about 11 PM everyone’s attention was drawn stage side as the night’s feature presentation was about to commence. Gracing the stage for roughly 20 mins were the sexy models who were wearing either yellow costumes (the front line of the section consisting of 25 masqueraders) or blue costumes.

After the presentation, the models then came into the crowd wining and waving to the sounds of sweet Soca as they mingled with everyone. This gave us an opportunity to get a couple of up close and personal shots of the the costumes that are going to colour the streets of Port Of Spain come Carnival 2008. Shut Up and Wine & BakahanaliA, thanks for the hospitality.
