After yet another sweet beach lime on Accra Beach, the plan was to link back at the hotel, and get ready for both Dream Land and 10-to-10. **Ring Ring** .... we get ah call from de Original Lime Juice, who says he's done for the night! He say that 4 consecutive sunrise is not in his future, and how he need to recuperate for The Booze Cruise in the morning. So not only is ah man down, but it's our ride too!! A quick TJJ Team meeting, and the TJJ Blue Team say they will run the route twice.... that is true team spirit. "A" is for action once again.

Usually on a Crop Over Saturday night, we would be all going to 10-to-10, but with VIP tickets going for a scorching $200 Bds ($100 US), most of our peoples wanted an alternative. Especially since 10-to-10 is fully loaded with live performances, which sort of takes away from the true fettin' spirit. Dream Land at $80 Bds ($40 US).... free drinks too... was the clear alternative! So back to The Party Stand we go. Surprisingly, the venue looked totally different... from the minute you're walking in, there's mist at your feet. The entire venue was nicely decorated to make you feel as if you're truly in some Dream Land... with some sexy Tinkerbells (photo) floating around n' all. Through out the venue, you could sample a number of liquors.... you had your J&R Rum, Smirnoff (served from a mini pool - photo), Heineken and local Bajan Banks beer. All adding a nice touch to the party's theme. Drinks sharing – We dey!

Now this party was by no means ram, but partygoers were having a BLAST! This might have something to do with an open bar and no pushing and fighting up to get yuh drinks. It was the perfect balance of DJ music and live entertainment. Farmer Nappy in true Trini 'saga boy' fashion, come on stage and decided that he wanted to give his performance of "Chippin'" in the bed with the models (photo). Yes, Farmer.... do yuh ting! Other performances by Nard ("Tempo"), Big Red ("Que Sera"), Mr. Dale ("Soka Junkie") and Fraud Squad ("Another Round") were enjoyed on the night. Look out for live action on TJJ TV.

This was the 1st year for Dream Land, and we are confident that this event will be even BIGGER and BETTER next year. Another 100 people or so, and this fete will be perfect! Dream Land was all about good vibes flowing, nuff luv showing and de ladies were definitely glowing. So for Crop Over 2008, We dey... We dey We dey We deyyyyy!

p.s. No man jack wanted to make the turn to 10-to-10, so it was back to The Gap for some zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's. Booooooooooze Cruise in de morning!!!
