Set once again at Abacus in the heart of London's city, it was as if the Carnival fever had swept across from the Atlantic and found itself in London's air because the Carnival hot foot was fully apparent as soon as one entered de lime. Stepping in from the miserable winter weather, it was like slipping into some parallel universe and ending up in some mad session back home.

Upstairs our friendly Busspepper chef, Mr Hasan, has followed through as usual, conjuring up the delights of the West Indies; you know, the food that make you exclaim a satisfied "Whooo! dat was good!" as you sit back for a brief moment rubbing your full and content belly.

Personally, when we got downstairs, was taken back by the multitude of people who had gathered in the one common goal to wine up and enjoy themselves in de name of Carnival. If anyone had come without having caught the Carnival hot foot disease they would have definitely caught it by de time the night was over. The DJ seduced our ears with the bacchanal basslines which set you in de mood to spread your legs and wine like there's no tomorrow, and those few brief hours everybody's woes and worries had dissipated and it was nothing but positive vibes which Busspepper events never fail to provide. For those who were going to T&T Carnival 2k7 and to those who not, it was without a doubt ah taste of home.

The term 'warm-up session' in we opinion is a deceiving title for this fete, after last Saturday's session there are only two words we can use that can sum up this fete...... ROOAADDDD BLOOOOCCK!!
