TJJ, prompt as usual, arrived around 12:45am at the fabulous Sugar Factory. By far, it is the best venue in Brooklyn for a fete. Big and Strong Promotions, along with BK's Finest decided to make a change (hence the name of the fete) and have their 7th annual breakfast party at the club instead of the usual boat ride.

Did we mention that we arrived around 12:45am? Well, why was there about 40 people just standing around? Question for the lawd knows who! We swear folks, get it together nah! At that hour, the fete should be jumping or just about to jump off. We walked in and we heard crickets, yes!

In spite of being thrown off by the sparse attendance, we found a good spot to set up right under the projection of Big and Strong's Carnival slide show, then headed straight for the bar! We discovered at the bar that there was a Courvasier promotion in progress. However, while we love free liquor, TJJ prefer Uncle Johnny and The Goose! BTW, we highly recommend buying shots at this venue. Truss.... is not a 'pow pow' shot is a 'budow' shot!!! For $8, remarkable!

After the second round, before we knew it the place was packed!!! Now that was more like it! Not that we were worried about the turn out, but times are changing with regards to the time a fete really starts! People we'll say it again... come out a lil earlier nah.... you'll find that you could get a better parking spot and have the benefit of partying longer. More for your money! ;-)

Kudos to A & A Doubles! They were set up complete with the umbrella and all. TJJ loves some good doubles!! The line was a bit on the long side, but that is to be expected when we talking about bake and shark, bake and saltfish and of course doubles.

The DJ's kept the hits coming. Soca, Reggae, Hip Hop! Everyone had a wicked time. Now remember we mentioned that TJJ secured a spot to set up, well it turned out to be the hot spot!! LOL!! Big up to family and friends of the Jungle!!

Well done Big and Strong!! Thanks a bunch for having us.
