Eh heh! It’s the second Saturday of the month which means it's Big Phat Fish (BPF) time again. Now this was the 1st BPF for 2007 so it was highly anticipated so you know, by the time TJJ got there, which was around 12:30am, the crowd was jumping, waving, and best of all..... wining!
First time in a long time we see them have to open up the back gate and use two entrances to let the crowd in. BPF was well crowded, but no set ah pushing and shoving. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and was too into de music for dat kind of behavior! Now we know Island Elite does always try to make each BPF special and memorable for the folks and dem, so for this one Troy buss out the video camera!! Look for ah familiar face taking you through the party showing the folks in action. ;-) You can see that footage sometime soon on their website, and you know us here at Trini Jungle Juice always on the cutting edge so for 2007 we bringing you more of the clips you love on TJJ TV. Now of course the majority of de talk in de party was about TnT Carnival 2k7.... who going? when yuh going? and who yuh playin' mas with? The band of choice for the Florida crew seems to be TRIBE... whata surprise!! Errr...uhhh... Those of us who aren't going, were, let's just say, cussin under we breath! **Steups** De music, was gearin' up de crowd for Carnival. Talk about new tunes dat play! Ah felt like ah was in Trini, yes! Two of the definite crowd pleasers are Machel Montano's "One More Time" and Crazy's "Cold Sweat". But you know how it go this time of year, every two minutes a new tune is born so check out the Music Section to stay up to date, doh reach in Trini for Carnival without doing your music research first!! We dun talk!!
Yes, some of us are homesick, and unfortunately won't be going to Trinidad for Carnival, but if yuh want to hear sweet music while dreaming of home, BPF is the place to be! Can you imagine the pace on Saturday February 10th?!!? Lawdahmercy!!!
