It was yet another fabulous weekend in NYC. TJJ headed to The Island for "Blue The Return", Rango's 2007 presentation for the West Indian Labor Day Parade. The costumes, displayed on mannequins, were gorgeous shades of blue. Some were adorned with silver detail. A section from Tribe was also featured as a part of the presentation.
People perused the displays and commented amongst themselves. Some ladies were clearly excited. I overheard a woman telling her friend what accessories she would be wearing with her costume of choice. Yes folks, The Island was all a buzz with plans for the upcoming Labor Day festivities.
Of course, as usual the music was just the right tempo for the evening. Not too much jamming, but just cool vibes. The old school Soca session was just what the doctor ordered. Thanks again Rango. We will be looking for you guys on the Parkway!
