It's the 11th Annual Bishop's Anstey Hilarians All Inclusive. As usual the event was held at the School compound which always makes for a cozy yet classy, convenient location. Classy and convenient in that the natural setting of the school itself is a nice canvas for a party planner. The antique look complimented with some lights and décor created a lovely ambiance.

At the entrance, it was unusually pleasant to notice that from the time patrons entered the fete, they seemed to be in party gear already. With smiles on their faces and a swing in their walk, we began to wonder if there was entertainment taking place on de outside as well?! Fetegoers were also given bandanas, a basic essential at any carnival fete! Once inside, we took a walk around to satisfy our curiosity and see what was available at this All Inclusive. Well boy, it was an endless list of food and drink stalls! We observed two main bars well stocked with a wide variety of premium alco. Then there were smaller bars designated to special drinks such as Cocktails, Wine, Tequila, Vodka and even a "Sober Zone" with non alcoholic beverages. They had it all!

On the food side of things, the hall area was used as the main Food Court offering both Creole and Chinese cuisine's. Here patrons were facilitated with ample seating and a huge flat screen TV which broadcasted stage side entertainment so that folks didn't miss ah thing. On the outside, there were many different snack tents to choose from as well. Patrons were treated to Fresh Express, Bake n' Shark, Roti, Gyros and our personal favorite of the night, de Crab and Dumplin!! Aye Aye Aye!! Thumbs up to the caterers... good stuff! Oh let's not forget the deserts. Ice cream and other sweet treats were also available to compliment one's meal. We also saw the thoughtfulness of the promoters when we observed Andrews Liver Salts being handed out to people later on in the night. No indigestion in this fete!

TJJ could have guessed that many people looked forward to this fete because the party was well attended. By about 7 PM, the venue was filled with a warm and friendly crowd. Both the young and the young at heart were present to part take in the festivities.

When it came to entertainment on stage, Miss Digicel herself, the entertaining Destra Garcia blew away everyone's mind with her Sexy Punk Rock outfit!!!! (be sure to check out those pictures) Hmmmmm... Destra, "Where did you get that short, short, short pleated skirt!!??" Men were in awe and women where curious to know where they can get themselves their very own "tiny skirt". Then of course, when you thought that Destra didn't have to sing a note (because she did enough just wearing that skirt), she then gave an awesome performance. It was indeed a great choice to have her perform first, because it got the crowd hyped up, Soca hungry and so ready for Mr. Groovy Shurwayne Winchester who was extremely energetic on stage (as always!) Some of us got headaches because of how loud we screamed, or were very tired after he left, because of all the jumping, waving and dancing, but it didn't matter. WOW, Shurwayne and his band Traffik rocked the crowd literally. It always hurts the people to watch him walk off the stage, because they always want more after the tease! This year Bishops even had a mosh pit where folks could jump and wave with the feeling of being smack dead in the middle of on stage activity.

We did get more, but this time from Roy Cape All Stars less Rita Jones (who has gone solo), but with newest addition Olatunji Yearwood (who recently left Traffik). All who liking "Get Wild" for Road March? Helllllooooo. People always welcome Roy Cape though, for the name alone is legendary and the quality of music they give out is much appreciated. Well, Roy's band was on stage for the rest of the night. They started out with front line singers Blaxx and Olatunji, and then his band played for the rest of the performers. Iwer George gave ah show! The partygoers of course loved every moment of it!! In between the different performances Self Construction sound kept it pumpin with the latest 2k7 Carnival songs.

When Lucazades were being distributed, 3 Canal entertained the mass of us for a while with their powerful lyrics. "Good Mornin'" is a big tune for 2007! At the sametime, Mr. Clean Services Ltd. unnoticeably swooped through the crowd picking up every cup or paper from the floor. It was only then that some of us realized that it was after 10:00 PM. All in all the night started off great and ended perfect. We even got hang alongside comedians Nikki Crosby and Penelopy Spenser AND we got to leave with gyros, Bake n' Shark and Beef Roti. *Smiles*

Thank you Old Hilarians' for inviting TJJ to cover the event. It's our pleasure capturing your fun moments on camera. We had a blast! 300 photos to soak in and enjoy.... and we making tracks to our next stop, "Wicked In White".
