(Singing) All she said she wanted.... was Bazooodddeeeee and of course you know Trini Jungle Juice had to represent to the fullest at Bazoodee Friday "Xtreme" held at Pier 1 on Friday 26th January 2007. TJJ arrived there at 10ish and took in performances from some of the finalist of the Synergy TV Soca Star Season 2 contest. Soon after, the big bands got the show on de road. Imij and Co. with Russell Cadogan, Terry Seals, Michelle Xavier and Ghetto Flex performing a number of the hit soca tunes for Carnival 2K7. At this time there was quite a number of partygoers both outside and inside the fete and for those that decided to leave late to head to Pier 1, hmmmmmm hope you guys learnt your lesson cause it was TRAAAAFFFFIIICCCCC down de line... oh wait, dat would be the reason why u still ain't make it inside Bazoodee, ah well! But it was niiiiccceeee.

Music was provided by High Fidelity/Less than Zero in between the soca acts. After Imij and Co. the crowd awaits for none other than Saucy... yes Denise "Saucy Wow" Belfon and bwoyyyy did she put on a show performing her hits such as "Jammette", "Saucy Baby", "Lewwe Do Dat" and what really mash down de place and had every man eyes glued to de stage was de new dance... yes... ladies, de "Bicycle Wine" with Spontaneous from Grenada. Saucy Wow is definitely the wining queen!! Fellas allyuh see dat tricycle. Ladies next time, we need to get pen and paper and later represent.

Next up was the energetic performance from Destra Garcia and Atlantik, singing her hits, "Carnival", "Tremble", "Independent Ladies" and "Max It Up", also her hit songs for 2007, "I Dare You", "We Luv Carnival" and "Soca or Die". Destra always represents for the ladies and proving that she is a diva in the Soca fraternity mashing up the stage in full black.

And last but not least.... you know who had to be there one more time.... yes the man himself, Machel Montano HD (High Definition). Machel enters onto the stage with an electrifying performance of "Higher Than High" followed by hits such as "Scandalous", "Dance With You" and a performance with Patrice Roberts "Light It Up". Patrice has really come a long way and with singing that sweet groovy hit "Sugar Boy" …suga boy, the world needs to look out for Patrice becoming an international artiste. Well into the night the HD family gave a high definition performance, performing the favorite of the ladies "One More Time". Who found someone to give dat one small wine jus one more time to, hmmmmm some people get catch. Coming to the ending of the night of course Machel had to sing the chune dat has everyone man jack like a jumbie in de nite…yessss "Jumbie" dem…everyone started doing de dance, outta body.... back to yuhself now, we reaaaaaaaaaddddyyyyy, ready for mas again. Confetti in the air, fire works at the ending of the performance, Machel is really HD this year.

Well it was really a Bazoodee night and we went all into the wee morning. At 4am it was about dat time to make an exit, until carnival 2008, TJJ will definitely be there for Bazoodee Friday, maybe it will be more 'xtreme', yuh never know and people, next time.... make de movements early o'clock to experience bazoooodeeeeeee.
