We done know Islands United does it BIG every 2nd Saturday up in Revolution with NAKED. So with folks in Miami who prefer not to drive so far North longing for some of the action, what better way to satisfy their needs than to give them their own event down south also, and with the reopening of Bayside Hut, now called The Water Club, the time was right for the return of 3Some to where it all began. If you have been with us before you know the formula, ladies in groups of 3 in FREE, and that does bring out a world ah gurl!! Where the ladies are at the fellas will follow, and with $3 entrance fee before 1AM you can’t go wrong.

With 5 Saturdays in the month of March, there still managed to be two big fetes on this night, so we made the trip down south curious to see what the turn out would be like. Arriving just around 1AM we were greeted with an almost full parking lot and a looong line to get in the party, for so early that was a good sign. With the new layout of the Water Club, it can hold quite a lot more people and most, if not all, the space under the hut was already occupied by folks who were already well into the party groove.

Now this nite just so happened to fall right when FIU students were starting their spring break and from the looks of things they were not wasting any time, having not been to a 3Some event since the Thanksgiving'06 party we could not really say if many of these faces were new, but we could say that by 2AM it was ram both in and outside the hut, and with this crowd there really was not a standing around ‘social’ area... the dancers were out and about. Speaking of dancers, some young ladies from Boston made it down to South FL for their spring break, and found themselves at 3Some and found themselves on stage in front of the DJs. Now this is never a problem for the promoters, once yuh look good and yuh gonna dance and entertain the crowd.... and these ladies must have gotten the memo. ;-)

While making the rounds outside the hut snapping the smiling faces we noticed that a lot of attention was directed to the stage area, so we headed over there to see what's what; “My word! Que passa passa?” To our surprise the ladies had been joined on staged by some young ‘gentlemen’ who had taken it upon themselves under the direction of the DJ to show the crowd some of their dance moves. A spectacle like this our eyes have never seen before, what ah show it was!! We are not quite sure who took the cake on that night, either the one guy that leapt in the air and landed on the young lady on her back, or the other young squire that lifted one lady onto his left hip and another onto his right hip and proceeded to dance with both of them simultaneously?

Ah yes, it's all about having a good time folks, and a good time was had by all on this night. The frequent drink specials and promise to party till 7AM certainly added to that. Look out for more events from Islands United: The Island, Naked and of course 3Some.
