Exploring de scene on a Saturday night TJJ took it to a different scene or level as we say, and headed to the famous More Vino in Woodbrook. Generally what we know about More Vino, is that it's a place where wine lovers gather to socialize and wet their palate with wines of their choice. Cigars are also available to compliment the experience for those who so desire.
Well Julius Caesar Entertainment in collaboration with More Vino decided to host a Greek All-Inclusive Spartan Festival which was based off of the movie 300. We reached down at about 9 PM, where we were graciously greeted by staff upon entry. Now from looking around at patrons' attire, we felt ah lil' outta place as part of the theme for the night was for men to wear Spartan battle gear or wear red and women to wear togas or wear white. We were wearing neither, but after running into some familiar faces and being served some shots, that feeling was all a thing of the past.
Moving through the venue, we really noticed how the deck of More Vino had been creatively transformed into an ancient Greece setting with the use of white drapery, lights and white columns amongst the vast greenery of plants. During the course of our night's work, we were introduced to some unique cocktails, plenty of premium alcohol and some Mediterranean grill & platters. Some of these included shrimp, chicken, beef and the most exotic of all... octopus.
On the entertainment side of things, the guys from Body Art were air brushing tattoos to the content of patrons' hearts. What made this experience unique was the fact that besides the regular stenciled designs, folks were asking for customized tattoos which seemed like no problems for the Body Art staff. Well ya know D Local Juice and Young Juice had to go test out their true talents. Boss we want ah TJJ tattoo please! Conclusion... these guys got skills! Later on in the night, two Persian dancers added to the entertainment line up with a 15 minute performance.
We socialized till the likes of midnight, and then it was time for the TJJ Spartans to make our way out. We surely enjoyed the drinks, eats, tattoos and music not forgetting to mention the enchanting company the of the crowd present. Hopefully our next stop for the night proves to be as delightful. Red Eyes Wide Shut October here we come ... ==================================== |
