Although summer was around the corner and we were already packing up the winter clothes, it was time to get out your finest beige, white and cream attire for the 3rd Annual Xclusv Summer 2K6 Creamsicle Boat Cruise.
Held aboard one of Canada's biggest dance floors on the water The River Gambler, the crowd was definitely in for a good time especially with the star studded DJ line up. Despite the breezy and cool temperatures on the upper deck, many partygoers didn't let that stop them from enjoying the sweet mixes Starting From Scratch and D'Bandit were throwing down on the one's and two's. Now below deck was another story ... one word - packed! But remember people were running from the cold outside, and to top it off, the music was also off da chain. DJ Chief, D'Enforcas and Smooth turned the heat up another notch on the lower level switching beats from Hip Hop to Reggae and Soca. The vibe was definitely sweet! In addition, the crowd was always entertained with comedians Jean Paul and Jay Martin on the mic. Large up comedian Russell Peters on board as well.
No sooner it was 2:30 am and the boat was beginning to dock, time certainly flies when you're having fun. Big thanks to Mesfun, Mikey and the whole Xclusv family for allowing TJJ to shine in their "white" and have a good time. All we can say is get your tickets early next year, this boat cruise is not one to miss. People brought the cream and Xclusv certainly brought the "sicle".
