Greetings one and all! It's a holiday season and I know you missed the news and reviews from JA Jungle Juice, currently reppin' GA. So maybe this is GA Jungle Juice? This time we tekking a trip out behind God's back (also known as Union City GA). BBQ set to start at 4pm, but man, its 95 degrees outside, so dis Caublasian and SupaLei (JAJJ in training) decided to push out when it was a little cooler. Is all good, we got there in the daylight (praises be to daylight savings time) and headed in to an already bubbling fete. Apparently the masses didn't have the aversion to heat we had (or they had work the next day).

Now if you used to the reviews you know we did again walk wid we bellies, but line did long, so better tek a drink fuss and see who did deh deh. So yes, this session was true to Atlanta Caribbean form. Jamaicans on the left, Trinis on de right and the small islanders in-between. I run up inna every group practice me accent. Oh Gosh! Oh yes, and dominoes did in de mix (it's not a Caribbean event without dem bones). Of course I didn't get to play, but I'm not bitter, probably wasn't that exciting anyway!! (Sour grapes anyone?)

Yesssssssssss line ease off. Quick trip to de food. And it did not disappoint. The pelau came highly recommended. Big Ups to de chef! Oh yes! And that macaroni and cheese. Delightful! No carb avoidance here. Unfortunately, they were quite out of BBQ chicken, but SupaLei found the solution, hound the grill master, who indulged us with extra well done pieces. Mmm Mmm Good! Big ups to the men that offered laps for us ladies in the white skirts - Of course you could have just gotten up and given us the chairs, but you still get points … no grass stains here.

Drink Review? De drink of de night was 'Bush Tea'. One by one people abandoned their original drink choices for some of that Cruzan Rum. Lemme tell you it has now been added to my drinks list. If you haven't tried it, GET SOME! Of course tips had to be added to the tip jar. As I did walk wit mah two empty hands (I feel so disgraced), cash had to be dropped. Thank you to everyone who brought liquor or dropped some cash. Everyone else, THE SHAME!

As it got later into the evening, the food was moved aside for some dancing in the garage, and some reveling by the cars. More than once Wasi had to direct people back onto the lawns and out of the streets (how we did forget we weren't at home).

So a few hours later, after the rum wore off and new friends made, it was time to call it a night. Saying quick goodbyes (so it took about ½ hour) we were on our way back into civilization. Looking forward to the next one. And I Promise to get a new camera. JJJ/GAJJ out.
