TJJ arrived at the Trinidad Country Club around 11pm. The crews were just rolling in by the car loads and even one or two maxis pulled up to off load partygoers. People came out in their numbers filling out the rather large venue. The bar was well stocked and just as promised there was a table filled with complimentary Punch de Crème. Partygoers wasted no time in helping themselves to the drink of the season. The venue was decorated appropriately for the season. Inside there was a booth where people could get an instant photo taken, this was a big hit.

The vibes on the inside was nice, by 1 am the venue was filled, and the DJs had the crowd moving from front to back. Lexxus Sound and Hans & Gonzo among others really hyped the crowd. Mr. Vegas "Hot Wuk", a crowd favourite, always seemed to get the job done every time sending ladies into ah frenzy. Speaking of ladies, they were in no shortage Under the Mistletoe.

The crowd was treated to many live performances on the night, including two contestants in the current Synergy Soca Star. The new comers had the crowd moving and got them warmed up for what came next. Maximus Dan gave a performance that can be described as electric, he performed all his big hits from past years and really got the crowd involved. Jumping, waving and even 'kicking it way' just pure niceness. As if the crowd didn't have enough, the so called bad boys of Soca, 3Suns came to the stage and took the already elated crowd to a next level.... let we "Levitate Elevate". 3Suns did their thing the way they always do, getting the crowd involved and getting them to respond.

Overall the event was a success, the turnout was impressive and it was evident that everyone enjoyed the dance. The bar never ran out. The DJs and performances were up to d time down to d minute. All the recipes needed for a good time. When it was time to lock off at 4am the crowd was chanting for more, more!! The police wouldn't have it though, so it was time to head out. We are sure we'll see everyone again next Under the Mistletoe, the dance sell off!!

Until next time, TJJ out.
