TEMPO Turns 1, and in continuing with the trend of the channel's one year anniversary celebrations, Trinidad was carded to host the last of TEMPO's one year birthday bashments.
In preparation for the festivities, there was a Press Conference held on Thursday November 30th at 51 Degrees nightclub. Here media got an opportunity to meet and greet a small portion of Saturday night's big cast. International and local stars such as Lady Saw, Rupee, Machel Montano, Denise Belfon, Kernel Roberts, 3Suns, Levy Myaz and TEMPO VJ Empress Jeanille were all in the house. Man of the moment, Sr. Vice President, General Manager and Founder of TEMPO, Frederick Morton Jr. was also most present.
After a few words from Denise Belfon, Rupee and Machel, Frederick then took the mic and shared some of his thoughts with the media and other special guest. He related to folks what TEMPO was about and how its 1 year of success and accomplishments truly encompassed what his dreams and visions were all about. In wrapping up his speech, he named 51 Degrees one of TEMPO's official hotspots and a definite place to check out when in Trinidad.
The media party went straight into 51's Karaoke night, with some of the TEMPO stars carded to participate. Unfortunately were not able to stay back and take in the action. Always being on de go, we'll wrap this one up with the all to familiar TJJ saying, "We gone again!"
