RAIN OR SHINE - These partygoers rocked the boat. Where you say? At Saldenah's SPLASH! End of Summer "Reunion" Boat Ride aboard the Enterprise 2000 of course. TJJ arrived around 8:45pm, and as usual, people just love to lime in the parking lot and drink pre-boarding! Despite the intense cold and windy weather, we came across many limers outside the front of the boat excited to take off and get the party started. This crowd was definitely an older crowd but still had a good bit of young people on board. The boat disembarked around 9:30pm, and by this time most the crowd was seen on the main and upper floors of the boat.

Although some of the limers preferred startin de night off with ah couple drinks instead, the vibe was real nice for everyone. We were welcomed by some sweet Soca spun by Soca Vibes, and damn that was a good way to start the night. Tunes such as "All Aboard" by Tony Prescott & Atlantik was a perfect way to get the crowd going crazy on the boat. Other tunes such as "Swinging Engine" by Burning Flames and "Dollar Wine" really got the crowd goin!!!

Now most of these limers had to start their night off with some FOOD of course. This consisted of an appetizing fried rice, baked chicken and salad. Ah must say though, it tasted rell good! Compliments to de chef! Soon after D'Enforcas brought us back in time with the Reggae tunes such as "Action" by Nadine Sutherland & Terror Fabulous, "Big Up" and "Slam" by The Doctor aka Beenie Man.

It wasn't till after de food started settlin, and everyone had a drink in their hand when Starting From Scratch held it down! He got the crowd bumpin' with his old school tunes from Michael Jackson to Lionel Richie... he definitely knew what the crowd wanted to hear. The crowd went wild to chunes like "Baby Be Mine" by the big man himself Michael Jackson. You think Scratch stopped there? Nah Nah Nah, he had the crowd doing some dances that had to be pulled out the hat... 'doo wop', 'side to side' and everyone knew the words to the chunes like "Rhythm of the Night" by El Debarge and yessssssssssssssssssss, "All Night Long... all night... all night long... all nightttttt" by Lionel Richie. It was some serious back in da day chunes that our parents use to get down too... the boat was rockin and rell hot yes!!!! Scratch, there are no words to thank you for bringing back the memories!!! Can we say AMNESIA next fete???!!!

TJJ and the rest of the limers departed off the boat around 1:30am, still bumpin to the music of course. Sadly there was no corn soup man in sight, BUT as usual the party continued in the parking lot! Much thanks to Saldenah for having us on board... we like family yes!

Until next time… this is Miss Malibu and Sasquash signin off for TJJ.
