Yes Mad Sick Chicano on the scene reppin' for Trini Jungle Juice and the place to be was RAWKUS 06. What a party sweet! Reach on to the place in the 12 bells and we try park close cause it did chilly. We guess parking in the basement of Zanzibar gives you a quick access to the front of the club (hint hint). Yeah it cost, but it beats standing in the cold. At this time entrance flow seemed fairly well ... we can't really comment more on it because TJJ and crew got in fairly quickly. We get we search, we give them we ticket and we in. Boom bam bam!

So 12:30 AM we in and the you could tell the vibes was going to be nice, one - because it early and two - couple early(ier) birds were already rocking to the early juggling at the reigns of DJ Majestic from Sprang Intl. Some nice back in times juggling set the mood as people steadily moved in and established themselves. Massive, by about 1:30 AM the place was ready to get RAWKUS-fied.

Majestic took us through a musical journey from the early warm to the dancehall stylee of Signal the Plane, Sesame Street and Willie Bounce. Yo the people dem did ready. Next on stage was Copper Shot from Jamaica, and as the fliers were being read we took a cruise around Zanzibar. You could see a great mingle of Caribbean, African and American people. Friends from past and present. Man buying them rounds of drinks - and women their cocktails.

Yes sah Copper Shot on now! As we made our way back to where we had positioned for the night we continued to snap pics of the crowd, if yu see people. Copper Shot as usual had a series of dubplates entertaining the crowd with the latest in Dancehall music. More drinks were ordered, more vibes was building. Following that segment the big bad Renaissance took charge and yo is now you did wah see crowd control. Renaissance's very own Dr. Dre killed it with Hip Hop, and his medley of Dancehall music. Chants of pullllll upppppp were coming from the crowd from all angles. Yo, the music was pumping and the liquor was flowing. If we never catch we self, we would of thought we were home! A night well spent, and for a bonus, DJ Hazzard came on and reminded people how great Trini Carnival was with the latest Soca.

At around 4 AM people started trickling out. You could tell people had a time. One only set back was the fact that the coat check was right at the door way of the exit, so you don know that caused a bottle neck. Some people wanted to leave right away, others trying to get their coats and as always, others trying to get numbers - but who wrong them. It was a wicked party. TJJ, gives it much ratings.

PS. Once Guinness stock at the bar for the night you fine by us. Bless.
