Jah will be waiting there we’ll shout, Jah will be waiting there.
In this world of calamity, dirty looks and grudges and jealousy
... and police who abuse their authority ... puulll uuuuppp!!

Yes all massive and crew, big big tune “Road to Zion” from none other than reggae superstar Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley. Now Trini Jungle Juice knows that we are on de heels of Carnival 2K6, but with celebrities like Jr. Gong passing through Trini to promote a little peace in de place, we had to be in on the action.

The welcoming party which was held at 51 Degrees held nuff anticipation. People could hardly believe Damian Marley was actually going to be present. At about minutes after 1 AM, the man of the hour arrived. Dressed in all black and accompanied by his entourage, he was initially welcomed by the crowd with the flashing of cameras and people peeping over each other shoulders in order to get a better view. When things mellowed out, a few folks got the opportunity to meet the man and even get a picture or two with him.

Big up to Isasha and Million Voice who were also present, doing their thing to promote the local reggae, and large up Dawg E Slaughter and the Excalibur Disco crew as well. It was an enjoyable and definitely different night at 51. We mean, it's not very regular things like this does happen!! Those who were there surely would carry the memories. "Out in da streets dem call it..."

We must give a special shout out to man like Ryan for taking care of the Trini Jungle Juice crew. Respect Everytime!
