Busspepper's Jouvert party was Sunday night of the Notting Hill Carnival weekend but unlike Trinidad it does not start at 4:00 AM... the authorities in London not being as flexible as Port-of-Spain City Council. The TJJ team reached about 11:00 PM (after washing off the chocolate from Chocolate Mas) and the party was about 75% full with a quick moving queue outside. As usual Busspepper had attracted a crowd ready to party. The music at first was some back in times dub up to some present time selections, but then the crowd started to get anxious for Soca.

Then the Soca flowed like water! The crowd started to get going and some women start to get on bad (good thing we had our cameras). The bar was getting ram at this point as people started getting the vibe with Royal Oak flowing. Some of the Soca Warriors were there celebrating with Brent Sancho, Stern John and Kenwyne Jones coming down to party.

The party was full right to the end at 3:00 AM with people rushing Chef Hassan for his West Indian food at the end, cleaning him out. This correspondent had to make do with some curry chicken scrapings as I waited too long... won't make that mistake again!

Who on de road for Notting Hill Carnival tomorrow people?
