With 2K6 on the horizon there is never a shortage of fetes in Toronto and with that said Trini Jungle Juice was on the move. Fresh out of another big fete, TJJ headed up to the luxurious Shangri-La in Markham for the IslandBoyz 9th Annual Boarding Pass Fete... "We Reach."

We have to admit that we got there much later then we anticipated (2am) and unfortunately by then most of the fetegoers had left thus creating more of a hangout vibe rather than a hot and sweaty soca party.

Despite the crowd turn out, "Pilots" DJ's Court Jester, D'Bandit & Soca Sweetness did what they did best and mashed up the fete with the new soca tunes that have all masquerades burning with excitement. We talking bout, KMC's "3 Miles," Bunji's "Bomb Song" and of course, strong Road March contender "Band of the Year" by Patrice Roberts & Machel Montano. Now, no Boarding Pass Fete is complete without DJ Chief on the one's and two's accompanied by the Renegade Squad throwing down on the reggae vibes.

With a long and fete-filled night, we headed home around 3:30 AM. The TJJ crew need to rest up for Trinidad Carnival 2006 ... see you on de road!!! TRIBE posseeee!!!!
