With much of the soca parties coming to a trickle since Caribana, then again maybe it was just us taking ah rest from the scene, it was the night of the Carnival Nationz Victory fete. So we decided to ditch the flannel pj's and trade in the TV remote for de camera and well of course ah drink or two!
Having surpassed all odds and winning the Band Of the Year title two years in a row, not to mention the King, Queen and Male Individual titles, it is quite obvious that this band is here to stay and it was certainly time for a celebration. TJJ arrived around 12:15am at what seems to be the now usual spot for events Viva Nightclub, and was on the inside in no time. Of course before getting down to business first stop was the bar, which moved well as all three were in operation this rounds and service moved relatively quickly.
All the usual suspects were out in full force with resident DJ's Court Jester, Soca Sweetness and D'Bandit mashin up on the one's and two's allowing revellers to relive the excitement of Caribana. Host S.K.F did his thing on the MIC keeping the momentum going and with tunes from Soca to Reggae and even a little Old Skool... the crowd was in a groove working up ah sweat.
TJJ decided to roll out around 3am with the party still going on. Much thanks to Carnival Nationz & IBz for allowing TJJ to pass an enjoy the celebration. What no cake (lol... just kidding)!! Looking forward to next year... see you on the road!
