Bishops Annual All Inclusive was held on Saturday 28th January. It was the 10th of its kind and in order to be running for so many years, there must be some element of success involved. TJJ arrived at the event just as twilight was setting in.

It had been pretty much a cool and overcast day with occasional moments of sunshine peeping through the clouds, which filled the gray coloured sky. Ok people forget about the weather. We here to enjoy the sweet sounds of soca, the tantalizing food and the premium drinks. Its party time!!

At about 6:45 PM the live on stage entertainment took way. Roy Cape All Stars, with lead singers Rita Jones and Blaxx, was first to perform. They kicked things off pretty well drawing the majority of the crowd stage side. Partygoers swayed to the rhythm of Roy Cape’s performance, and don't talk about when “Carnival Feeling,” Rita Jones' song, that is becoming ever so popular was performed ... people began to joyously sing along. Chorus line ... “Do you get this feelinnggg ... show me how you feel when it's Carnival time!!”

Well without much of an intermission, Mr. Machel & Xtatik hit the stage. Now the crowd really in a frenzy. If you like to socialize, get out of the crowd when Xtatik come to perform. Both young and young at heart were jumping and waving. If you see energy! The fete was in full swing now. Machel got the crowd to liven up not only by his music, but by his famous line for the night “Dat is ah Bess!” After Machel & Xtatik performed, we took a stroll around to see how things were going otherwise.

The food was seemed quite interesting. There was Bake n Shark, Gyros, Doubles, Chinese and Creole cuisine just to name a few. We tried a bit of this and of that, and it all tasted umm umm ... good! Premium Haagen Dazs ice cream was also available for anyone wishing for desserts to compliment their meal. At about 8:30 PM we really took a check of the crowd’s size. Wow! It was huge, people everywhere but we really won't have figured because the bars and food stalls were moving so smoothly.

So it's a big annual fete and we know celebrities must be passing through. TJJ caught up with 2 of them and would like to make special mention. President of T&T, the honorable George Maxwell Richards and Government Minister Keith Rowley. Big band Traffik, with front line Shurwayne Winchester & Candy Hoyte, was on stage. We pit stopped at the Premium stocked bar, got a drink and headed stage side again. Party in prime and people merry. Shurwayne and Candy only heated things up more as they performed their ever so loved hits, including a real favourite for 2K6 Don’t Stop.

The big man in de business, Iwer took the stage at about 10 PM. He just continued to pump the soca vibe and kept the masses jumping. Last but not lease, at minutes to 11 PM Destra and her band Atlantik took to the stage. The crowd armed with red bandanas "Maxed It Up" to Atlantik’s performance, waving their hands high in the air. Maximus "The Gladiator" Dan also joined Atlantik's act and stirred up a hype ... what ah "Whirlwind!!"

It was truly and enjoyable and entertaining night. With a combination of great entertainment, excellent food, premium drinks and nice people, TJJ can see why it’s the 10th annual and going strong. We sure do look forward to BAHS All Inclusive in 2007. Thanks for having us guys!
