Once again it's Beach
House time!! Part 6 to be a little more precise. Held at the usual Ortinola
Estate in Maracas St. Joseph, 21 Promotions hosted yet another successful
event.
The weather was fine
indeed, and when we say fine, we mean plenty of sunshine. Reaching down
later than expected, we saw some folks parking way out along the main
road leading to the venue. This made us begin to question ourselves. "Like
de carpark full bwoy! Wander if we go get ah park or if we shud join these
folks and park here." Deciding to go brave, we continued driving
inward. Good call! If you see room to park still available to patrons.
Mind you though, don't get tied up... if you see the amount of cars there
already! This just showed us two things. One, ample parking available
and two, this was going to be ah big fete.
Well enough small
talk, let's head inside. It was about 5:30 PM and as we walked across
the stretch of grass leading to the party we could feel the vibe already.
Some folks were meeting and greeting, while others were catching up on
ole talk. Nearly everyone seemed to have a drink in hand because aye ...
it's free drinks! Also, somehow up in this valley the humidity just tends
to be a bit ridiculous and people just need ah drink to alleviate de heat.
As the sun begins to set and nightfall sets in, is only then we really
start seeing people freeing up. Maybe it might be the alcohol that now
setting in too, who knows?? :-)
The usual DJs Joy
Juice and King International having the experience, know how to hit the
right spots, sending folks off into ah musical orgasm. Things were so
nice that the party was even extended and things went on until a little
after 10:30 PM. So that was another Beach House in the making and ah party
which we usually give our TJJ Thumbs Up rating to. As folks made their
way home, most had a peace of mind knowing that tomorrow was yet another
public holiday. Yes peoples, Happy Republic Day Trinidad & Tobago!
