Toronto Click on thumbnails to see the big picture/entire gallery After a long hiatus Sir Anslem Douglas is ready to take on the Soca scene once again and what better way than to have a CD Launch at the Consulate General of The Republic of Trinidad & Tobago, Toronto Canada. It was a small and intimate gathering which comprised mostly of friends, family and entertainers with in the business ranging from producers, DJ's and media. In conjunction with Demerara Distillers International Marketing Inc. who were in house promoting it's brand El Dorado Rum; which went down well on a cold and wet Tuesday night, the event began around 7pm with a heartfelt speech from Consul General Mr. Michael Lashly who later in turned it over to Sir Anslem Douglas. Anslem humbly expressed thanks to his family and loved ones in his life for their support and dedication in making this day a reality. He expressed that even though he was "out of sight", music is in his blood and has never stopped writing songs. The CD titled "Remember Me?" comprises of eleven tracks with a range of different melodies being able to reach out to a variety of markets. With top noch producers such as Neil Bernard, Junior "Ibo" Joseph, Leston Paul & Kerwin Du Bois the CD is sure to make a splash this upcoming Carnival season. The crowd was pleased when Anslem took to the mic recapping his past tunes to songs on his new release. Trini Jungle Juice wishes Sir Anslem Douglas much success on his brand new CD.
