Another Saturday night in Toronto and although some people wallets still recovering from de Caribana fetes, that did not seem to be the case at Soca on Demand Pt 2 - Ignite. Trini Jungle Juice was planning to roll up to de place usual West Indian time... you know midnight, but an inside tip say, "Allyuh better haul ass cause plenty people already outside!" So, TJJ reach SOD at about 11pm... yuh believe that???!!! And well yes, it was no lie about the crowd outside! Real Madness. Even babylon was in position to control the crowd in case of any out-of-control behavior start up.

Although not yet packed inside, cause everybody still outside, the early bird crowd was already in full swing. It was pure heat in de place as DJs D'Bandit & D'Enforcas already had the crowd sweatin' and it was only 11:15pm!!! The fete would only continue to heat up with music from Court Jester, Soca Monarchs, Kid Finesse, Soca Sweetness, Niterider & De Jump Up Kings. So, if you didn't dress to sweat... one word... PRESSURE!

It was approximately 2am when guest reggae artist, Marlon Asher, made his first ever Canadian appearance. The crowd went crazy for his hit song Ganja Farmer... pulllllllll up!!! Now this was a SOD party so after his brief performance, it was back to wind down the 6 hours of straight soca promised. There was still more jumping, more waving and most definitely more wining left to do!

TJJ rolled out a little after 3am in de pouring rain, but not without ah corn soup in hand! Thanks to Triple Crown Ent, WukUpNuff.com & TriniSouthBoyz for allowing TJJ to pass through an experience we first SOD. Right peoples... we go bounce up at de next fete!
