Soca or Die! 2 was no different than any other Dr. Jay fete... Soca music, great people, drinks galore and plenty vibes! You had the return of the "Pajama Jammy Jam" on one floor and Toronto's first ever "Soca Foam Fete" on another floor. What a concept... two fetes in one! Aside from the DJ sounds, live entertainment was the uproar... Soca artists such as Billy D Kid, Ziggy Rankin, Blazer and H2O Phlo were all present to mash up de place!

The party started for the Trini Jungle Juice crew about 12:30am, and fete was already in full swing. No question, the atmosphere had a 'Party till yuh drop' vibe. Now, all the performers were great on the night, but H2O Phlo stole the show as expected. Not because it was their 1st ever Canadian appearance, but because of their sweet voices giving a nice blend of Soca and RnB music. We popped backstage to catch up and tek a small lime with the H2O Phlo crew after they performed. And if there is one thing you should know bout these fellas (Jason, Audie, Junior and Keston), they are all very pleasant and down to earth. And like any other Trini, they ready for a wine and ah lime once the work done!

When the party switched to the Foam floor, people went crazy like they never see water before! Like when the sun comes up at ISLANDpeople Insomnia fete and de water start to spray! Everyone seemed to love the concept of feting in the foam, they were drenched from neck to foot, but it was all smiles from de neck up!

All in all, the partygoers had a good ole time and loved the cameras. A special thanks to Dr. Jay and the entire Soca Therapy family for allowing us to experience the foam with them, and for showing the TJJ family nuff love.

The only negative feedback from some partygoers was:
1. Not liking the fact that the party had to literally move locations after one part was done (Pajama Jammy Jam) to the other (Soca Foam Fete). This was a bit awkward, but then again if yuh drunk then that wouldn't matter!
2. The floor with the foam was VERY hot! It would have been more comfortable had it been a bit cooler.

Other than that, many felt they got their money's worth! We waiting for SOCA OR DIE 3!!!

TJJ is not new to this, we are true to this!
