With what seems to be a trend these days at Caribbean parties, the crowd started trickling in at about 12:30am to the beautiful "Solo on the Bay". Parking did not seem to be an issue due to the rather large parking lot of the Halover Marina. There was also no shortage of scenery. One's first impression of "Solo on the Bay", once you are able to find it, is the prominent lighting on the front of the building. We entered through a lobby reminiscent of a country club and continued straight through three open glass doors, to the extended patio over the water, which was accented by the view of lots of lit piers in the distance.

The bulk of the partygoers located themselves in this area seeing that this is where one of the rather large bars was, but then also this is where DJ Dorenzo, DJ Omen, and Black Chiney were located to spread the vibes. The night definitely had a slight "Big Phat Fish" flavor, despite "Soca Therapy" not being in attendance. It seems that Island Elite also added a few new faces to the DJ line up. Just a quick mention on DJ Dorenzo, we would like to wish him good luck on his nomination for "International Soca DJ of the Year" at the 3rd Annual Soca Awards to be held in Trinidad Oct 2nd. There were lots of new faces in attendance at this Obsession, but lots of the regulars were there to represent their respective home countries, and TJJ was there to take it all in. Once again, we like the venue, we like the music, we like the crowd, but we definitely have some recommendations on price of drinks, *Ouch!*
