Yes gentle peoples, Trini Jungle Juice was on hand to cover the first of many 'Fresh Fete Fridays'. For those who don't know, Fresh Fete will be a monthly event held on the first Friday of every month. Now that the formalities out of the way...

We came on the scene a few minutes after 12 midnight. One of the coldest nights in DC, luckily the security moved the line fairly smooth. The only understandable hold up was the searching of patrons. We must say though, doh bring yuh fresh sneakers cause you not getting in! Absolutely no athletic wear allowed, unless you big ballin' like that of course. After the searching TJJ was well accommodated. As soon as we reach the door the promoters linked us up, and it was straight in.

Right away we followed the music upstairs. Music was provided by Back to Basics (NY) and Giselle the Wassi One (FL) on the ones and twos. The crowd wasted no time as man and woman already ends off on a corner and started their ting. A mixture of old school and new school reggae and soca reamed from the speakers whole night. We didn't see anybody complaining about the music at all. Yo, we even hear some wicked tunes from back in the day... reminded us of the days back home. Trini, JA, BIM, Grenada, Guyana, St. Lucia or wherever you from, it was memory lane.

Fresh Fete was a nice vibes and definitely a decent Friday night turn. So don't miss the next one! Any how we will let the pictures talk for itself. Likkle more!
