December in London... cold, wet, dark. Almost the same as any other time in London actually... except for the Christmas decorations!! So what can a Trini do to get some ham and pastel?? Well, Busspepper promotions has taken care of this problem with their annual Christmas party - Cuchi La La.

Held at the same venue as their last fete, Wax Bar, we knew this one would be good. And it looked like everyone else thought so too, as the guest list had to be locked off by Wednesday. We hear real man was begging all how. Happy to say, the TJJ crew were on the list and inside the dance. Which was more than we can say for the young lady who apparently had a fracas with the bouncer.

The usual suspects were there - Kern (High Fidelity/ Less Than Zero) and Lyndon & Spicer (Gladiators) had the party jumping. There was a definite vibe about and everyone was buzzing. Maybe they were glad from the ponche-a-crème, or maybe it was the Santa Bunnies putting a smile on their faces. Co-founder of Busspepper Promotions, Mateen Hepburn, explained, "With so many people home sick at this time of year, somebody got to provide ponche a crème, pastelles and a bit of parang, all in a great fete atmosphere. Busspepper Promotions is proud to provide so many people with a taste of home just when they need it most."

Well, we certainly can't remember much on the night after the mixing of scotch, champagne and anyting that was passing... we were lucky to remember to take some pics!! All we remembered was that the party seemed to have ended real quick, but it was already 3am and time to check Hassan upstairs for some food to go! Ahhh, but just too late! Steeeups...
